Was Captain of Third Battalion Middlesex County Militia at Battle of Monmouth - June 28, 1778.
Capt. Peter Perrine served in the Revolutionary War and was buried at the Old Tennent Church (yard).
His first wife was Sarah Scanlan (of Darby by Jane Mulison) who died 28 Jul 1799.
His second wife was Hanna Disbrow Dey (widow of David Dey).
All of his children are listed in Reference 4 and include:

Sarah was the only daughter of Darbey Scanlin and Jane Mulison, married in 1730. Lived at Piscataway.
Sarah was buried at Presbyterian Church at Cranbury. From her headstone:

who departed this life July 28, 1800,
Age 62 years, 6 months, and 9 days.”
