Listed as a Doctor (22, MI) with his parents and brother in Chicago in 1900. His future wife, Jessie Wilson is living with them as a boarder.
Dr. Claud Tallman of South Englewood, IL married Jessie Wilson on 10 Apr 1901. They had a son Wilson D. Tallman on 26 Feb 1904.
By 1910 he had moved back to Michigan and was married 9 yrs. The family consisted of himself, a doctor (31, MI), wife Jessie G. (34, MI) and the sole survivor of their 3 children, Ruth L. (4, MI).
He served in WWI, and his record reads - Captain Medical Department 7 May 1918 from Officers' Reserve Corps Medical Department to Discharge Hoboken NJ. Honorable discharge 4 June 1919.
Living in Toledo in 1920 as a doctor (41, MI) with (2nd)wife Neva (28, MI), dau Ruth (14, MI), sons Claude A. (1 11/12, OH) and Robert (5/12, OH).
In 1930 he is a physician (53, MI) living in Maumee with his wife Neva B. (39, MI), dau Ruth L. (24, MI), and sons Claude A. (12, OH) and Robert B. (10, OH). He was first married at age 23.
The 1931 Journal of the AMA listed his death:
Claude Addison Tallman, Maumee, Ohio; Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, 1900 ; served during the World War; aged 53; died, November 21, in the Flower Hospital, Toledo, of injuries received in an automobile accident.
