Listed as Percival E. Larson in 1920 and 1930 census with his parents.
He was living in LaMoure, ND when they were married in the Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.
He visited Norway in June, 1969, and visited the church in Biri, where he spoke with the pastor, who also played the organ and sang for him. He was thrilled to see the present church (dedicated on 27 Aug 1777), which was rebuilt on the site of the original. His grandparents had been married in this church, where the wedding chairs and baptismal font were hand-built and carved in about 1650. Ludwig was also baptized in this church.
He was involved in building the Chapel in the Hills church in Rapid City, SD; which is a replica of an 800 year old Norwegian church.
