Mable Lavonne Miller
Mable Lavonne Miller, 63, Greenfield, former Wilkinson resident, died Monday at Regency Place. Born Jan. 18, 1930 in Shelbyville. She was the daughter of Chandis Earl and Martha (Main) Wells. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Knightstown High School and worked as a cashier at K-mart, Greenfield, for 12 years, retiring in (?). Survivors include daughter Phyllis Jean Masters, Greenfield; son David Wayne Miller, Muncie; brothers Carl E. Wells, Middletown, Melvin Wayne Wells, Charlottesville, Raymond Earl Wells, Greenfield; sister Marilyn J. Dawson, Greenfield; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Miller. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, with Pastor Martin Keller officiating.
