SISTER DIES IN INDIANAPOLIS
Mrs. Esther Wells Dowers, younger sister of Mrs. Ed Kaler, died last week in the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis. Mrs. Dowers often visited here before her marriage. She was here at the time Mr. and Mrs. Kaler opened their wholesale candy and tobacco house, and assisted In operating it for a while. She contracted a cold a month ago, which led to colitis and pneumonia.
She was later mentioned in her father’s 1947 obituary as Mrs. Esther Wells Dowers (deceased).
