Geraldine (Swearingen) Wells 88 of Indianapolis died March 23, 2011. Geraldine was born November 29, 1922 in Little Rock, AR to Elbert and Eva (Hodges) Swearingen. Geraldine was a secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Wells in March of 2000 and her brother Glenn Swearingen.
Geraldine is survived by her two children Charles S. (Gloria "Mary") Wells and Beverly J. (Jeffrey) Lurie, six grandchildren Clint (Stephanie) Ecoff, Daniel Silberman, Jennifer (Ryan) Hidinger, Dena (Nick) Sico, Deborah Lurie and David Lurie and four great grandchildren

CHARLES EDWIN WELLS, 83, Indianapolis, died March 8. He worked 30 years for the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1976 as a supervisor. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of the Speedway American Legion Post. Mr. Wells was a member of Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America. Services: 1:30 p.m. March 11 In Flanner & Buchanan Speedway Mortuary, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. March 10. Burial: Washington Park North Cemetery. Survivors: wife Geraldine Swearingen Wells; children Charles S. Wells, Beverly Lurie; six grandchildren.
