Wells, William Oliver, 74 (03/01/1934 - 02/19/2009)
William was born in Vernonia. He retired from the U.S. Air Force (1 Oct 1952 - 30 Jun 1973). William is survived by his wife, Madeleine; and stepdaughter, Sue Furth. A celebration of Bill's life will be at noon Friday, Feb. 27 2009.

Springwater Rd., Estacada, Oregon 97023. Mr. Wells died on February 19, 2009 in Portland, Oregon at the age of seventy-four years.
William was born on March 1, 1934 in Vernonia, Oregon to his parents Lewis Lester and Maude Rhoda (Beck) Wells.
After graduating from high school, William sought a career in the United States Air Force. He began his service to his country during the Korean War earning the position of Staff Sergeant E5. He continued his relationship with the US Air Force until the time of his retirement.
William Oliver Wells is survived by his wife Madeleine E. Wells, step-daughter Sue Furth, sisters Patricia Adsit, Margaret Wells and Ruby (Neal) Ifversen. Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Martha Wells in August of 1997 and brother Lester Wells in May 2005.
