Living with his parents thru 1920. His WWI Draft registration list his birth as 1891 in Perryopolis, while his WWII Draft registration lists it as 1892 in Jefferson Twp which is what was recorded for Social Security.
He is listed as Robert R. Wells (34, PA) with his wife Cora B. (24, PA) in 1930, married 3 yrs. He is working as a truck driver (36, PA) on the farm and it says he was a veteran of the WW.
In 1940 he is listed as a farm hand (47, PA) with his wife Cora B. (34, PA); and living with them is her sister Emely Ginonoch(?) (16, PA), all of whom completed the 8th grade. It says they all lived in the same place in 1935.
He was still married to Cora in 1942 when he registered for the WWII Draft.
They were apparently divorced in 1944, based on the newspaper article to that effect, and since he was listed as married to Lila Haney in 1947.
