Farmer living in Jefferson Twp in 1880,1900 and 1910 (indexed as Wills in 1910) census records. They are married, with his mother boarding in 1880.
Owned his farm free and clear in 1900. Listed in Nelson's Bio Dictionary . . . "an industrious farmer of Scotch-Irish descent. Obtained a common school education and followed farming as an occupation. In 1900 had 103 acres of good agricultural land and sold the coal rights under 63 acres of it for $6,300. He was a Democrat and attended the Methodist Episcopal church."
Middle initial may have been "L", was listed as "K" in 1900 census. According to Carolyn Dauner, he took care of his mother while his father was dashing around the countryside.
In 1930 he is listed as a farmer with his wife, sons Harry, Noah and Jonty plus daughter-in-law Eve on Grindstone Road in Jefferson Twp.
