She is listed as Lovina and Lovena, and is recorded as Vena in a couple census records, as well as on her headstone.
She appears to be listed as Lovina Carpenter (28, CAN) born Mar 1872 in the 1900 census for Bradford, PA. She and Daniel (Jul 1869, CAN) a boiler-maker, have been married 7 yrs and have two children Arthur (28 July 1894, CAN) and Irene (Feb 1898, PA). It says he immigrated in in 1894 and is an alien, while Lovena and Arthur immigrated in 1895.
They are then listed in Salamanca, NY in 1905, all listed as US citizens, with Daniel, Lovena and Arthur having been here 10 yrs.
In 1910 they are still in Salamanca, married 17 yrs, with Daniel working as a boilermaker for the steam railroad. It now shows Daniel, Lovena and Arthur as having immigrated in 1894.
Lorena is then living in Cleveland in 1920, widowed (48, CAN) living with her brother Nelson Weegar and wife Elizabeth. Also listed in the household is Stanton N. Weegar (22, CAN) and Zella M. Weegar (19, CAN), Nelson’s children. Here it says Lovena immigrated in 1900 and is an alien.
Lovina was remarried to Fred A. Petri on 27 Aug 1925 with a marriage license from Allegany Co, NY, and married in Cuba..
They are listed in Bradford, PA in 1930, where it lists Fred (64, GER) as having a Tailor shopn, immigrated in 1887 and filed for citizendhip, with Lovena (59, CAN) as naturalized and having immigrated in 1895.
