JUDITH ANN WELLS Born: March 24, 1943 Died: May 12, 2021 DIXON –
Judith Ann Wells, born in Dixon on March 24, 1943, passed away peacefully at Regency Care of Sterling on May 12, 2021. Judith had years of struggling with many medical conditions, but she always raised the bar for herself and overcame many of these. Most knew her as Judy, and she touched many lives with her contagious laugh and great smiles. She always liked to have fun, and loved everything Elvis. She’s probably best known for her spunk and how to gain the attention of others. She definitely conveyed her ideas about what she liked and did not like. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Paul Clinton Wells; her mother Helen Ann (McCrystal) Goode; stepfather Stanley B. Goode; and maternal cousins. She is survived by the love of her life, Hank; and special friends Mary and Alicia, as well as many friends from Kreider. Memorials have been established to Regency Care of Sterling, 612 W 23rd St., Sterling, IL 61081 and Hospice Compassus, 4101 John Deere Rd., Ste. 1, Moline, IL 61265. Cremation rites have been accorded, with a service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Burial of cremains will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon. Arrangements were completed by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
