Obituary for Helen Ann Goode
Helen A Goode age 93 of Dixon died Sunday Feb. 10, 2013 at Heritage Square in Dixon. She was born June 6, 1919 in Dixon the daughter of Arthur and Elma (Erb) McCrystal. Helen was a certified dental assistant prior to retirement and had been a Pink Lady with KSB Hospital Auxilliary. She married Paul C Wells April 29, 1939 and he preceded her in death May 11, 1944. She later married Stanley Bruce Goode (1915 - 2014) in Dixon in August 4, 1951.
She is survived by her husband Stanley of Dixon, and a daughter Judy Wells of Dixon. She was preceded in death by brothers Dean McCrystal and Robert McCrystal.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 9th 2013 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel at Heritage Square in Dixon with the Rev. Frank Berman officiating. Burial of Cremains will be on Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Kreider Services.

PAUL C. WELLS, second youngest son of Mrs. John Wells was born Sept. 18, 1909 in Hamilton township. He came to Dixon as a young boy and his entire life has been spent in this community where he has been engaged in farming. He was married April 29, 1939 to Miss Helen McCrystal. who with his small daughter, Judith Ann survives. He was taken sick Saturday, May 6 and entered the Katherine Shaw Bethea hospital where he passed away Thursday, May 11. Surviving besides his wife and baby are his mother, Mrs. Jeanette Wells, six brothers, Ira, Azel, and Samuel of Dixon, John of Durand, Clyde of Harmon and Warren of Franklin Grove with whom he was associated in farming. The sisters are Mrs. Julia Rhodes, Mrs. Emmagene Grover, Miss Clara Wells of Dixon and Mrs. Lora Dusing of Polo, also several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his father, John F. Wells, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will he held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Staples funeral home, Dr. Bleufield, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating and interment will here in Oakwood.
