Robert R. Wells, 46, of Seymour passed away at 3:09 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Bob was born in Danville, Ill., on Jan. 12, 1963, the son of the late Eugene Wells and Gloria (Cole) Wells, who survives.
Mr. Wells was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 1925 and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He married Mary Cockerham Engelking-Wells on May 21, 2004, at Seymour.
Bob was a drywall hanger, having worked the past 20 years for Daniel Boone.
He is survived by his mother, wife and three children, Kristen Wells, Indy Wells and Amanda Wells. Bob is also survived by one grandchild, Halie Wells; one brother, Jon (Barb) Wells; and six sisters, Deborah (Robert) Young, Theresa Hupp, Vickie (Lonnie) Burton, Karen (Chuck) Stanley, Delania Roberts and Jeanie (Jim) Hancock; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Timothy Wells.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at Voss Chapel, Seymour, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Engelking is survived by her children, Daniel (Sherry) Engelking, Brenda (Tim) Lucas and Diane (David) Lucas; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Engelking; and a son, Gary Wayne Engelking Sr.
