Barbara Marie Wells, 49, of Keauhou, died Tuesday at Kona Hospital. Ashes will be scattered at a future date. Memorial Mortuary's Kona Branch is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Ward, of Kona; sons Bruce of Maui and Steven of California; her mother, Betty Morris of Kona, and two sisters, Grace Heck of Maui and Mary Lee Davis of California. She was a member of the Lahaina Yacht club. She was born in Utah.
Ashes to be scattered at sea.
