She was living with her parents in 1910, and again in 1920 as Elsie McVay, when she is listed as divorced (from Mose). The 1920 census was Jan 7th, but there is also a birth record later that month on Jan 26th, for Madison Blaine Wells, son of Elsie and Mose.
She is listed with her parents again in 1930, and her son is then listed as Blaine McVay (10, OH).
By 1940 she was living with her brother Hobert, with whom she is buried. Blaine M. (20) is listed as a student and nephew of Hobert, and her father was listed with the family at age 69.

Misc. Notes
His mother is listed as Rose Harmon on his birth record.
Listed as born Jun 1893 in the 1900 census, and as Mose M. in 1910 and later records.
He was single and listed his birth in 1895 in his 1917 WWI draft registration.
He enlisted in the Army on 26 Aug 1918 in Mt. Gilead, OH and was reported by the 159 Depot Brigade a Private who deserted on 18 Sept 1918 from Army Transport at Camp Taylor, KY.
He then returned and married Elsie M. McVay the next February, and they had a son, Madison Blaine Wells the next year after they had divorced. Elsie resumed using her maiden name and raised their son as Blaine M. McVay.
He is not listed in the 1920 census, although Elsie lists herself as divorced (not widowed), and no further records of Moses have been found, so it is unclear whether he died young, or changed his name to avoid any repercussions from his Army desertion. It is clear however, that he died before his mother’s death in 1936; which lists him as deceased.
