Listed as Shulim Mier Isralowitz, born 31 Jan 1902 in NY birth records, and born 25 Jan 1902 Solomon Israelowitz on his mother’s Naturalization petition.
Oldesr son of Samuel Zvi Israelowitz and Jennie [Gazella] Moses, with 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Listed as Sol on his marriage license. Reflecting hereditary deafness arising from Solomon’s father, all offspring are deaf. Anna was also deaf and partially mute, but this was not hereditary; and was probably from a childhood illness.
He is listed in 1930 with his wife of 2 yrs, as a locksmith (26, NY) with son Abraham (less than 1 yr, Brooklyn).
They had moved to New York City by 1940, where he is listed as a janitor (1902, POL).
In 1950, they are listed in Brooklyn, with Solomon Israelowitz (48, NY) working as a packer in a booklet factory with his wife Anna (45, POL) and son Abraham (22, NY) working as a printer in a print house.

She was listed as Anna Kartorzynska (17, POL) with her mother and siblings when they immigrated in 1921. Anna was deaf and partially mute, so she used Sign language. But this was not hereditary - it was probably from a childhood illness.
Married Soloman Iseralowitz (also deaf) as Anna Carter in 1928 and listed in 1930 (24, POL) with him and son Abraham (0, Brooklyn), living with her mother. She was a deaf mute, used sign language and had a light bulb hooked up to the doorbell to know when visitors had arrived.  The light would turn on and off. She sewed and knitted.
Then living in New York City in 1940 where she is listed as age 35, born in New York.
She moved to Texas in later years and died there in 1990. But Warren Carter arranged to have her returned to New York for burial in Wellwood cemetery.
