Donald R. Wells 1951-2004
Donald Ray "Don" Wells, 53, of Cheyenne graduated to heaven and went into the loving presence of Jesus on Aug. 23 at United Medical Center-West.
He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a loving, kind and generous man who would do anything for anyone. He reflected his love for Jesus in his everyday life. He will be deeply missed for now, and we anticipate our reunion in heaven.
He was born Aug. 2, 1951, in Orange, Calif., and had lived here for 11 years.
Mr. Wells served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was building maintenance manager for the Postal Service from 1978 to 1999.
Mr. Wells was a member of Creative Ministries Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 4343, American Legion Post No. 6, and a life member of Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his loving family.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. Jason Brittain officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.
