Crash Victim's Rites Are Slated Friday Morning
MIDDLETOWN, Ind.-Servlces for Vonda Lois Wells, 43, H.R, 2, who died in an auto accident Monday night In Madison County, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Mount Zion Wesleyan Church northwest of New Castle, with Rev. Robert Van Clse officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery, New Castle. Friends may call at the Ballard & Shirey Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and on Friday until 9 a.m. Friends also may call at the church one hour prior to the services. A native of Henry County, Mrs. Wells was the daughter of Harlan and Lena Brown of New Castle, who survive. Mrs. Wells was a member of the Mount Zion Wesleyan Church. Survivors besides her parents include her husband, Carl E. Wells; one daughter, Nancy, and four sons, James, Steve, John and Richy, all at home; four brothers, Bernard Brown, Crescent City, Fla., Bill and Virgil Brown, both of New Castle, and Richard Brown, Orlando, Fla.; six sisters, Mrs. Ramona Riggs, and Mrs. Roberta Swoveland, both of New Castle, Mrs. Reba Rene, and Mrs. Mary Whitfield, both of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Wanda Davis, Chicago, and Mrs. Janet Pope, Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews.
