Since she was listed as 7 in the Jun 1880 census with the birth years of 1873 and 1874 in the 1900 census and 1872 on her death cert, I have concluded that she was probably born in 1873.
Went by the nickname of Dena. She lived on Cliff Street as a child. She was listed twice in 1900 census; with her parents as born in 1873 and also with her husband and family as born in 1874 - marr 8 yrs, 4 children.
Lived on Terrace St at the time of her death in Wayne Memorial, Honesdale of cardio-vascular renal disease which she had for several years. Her name is listed as Dena Grace Tallman, b. 5 Feb 1872 as reported by her son, Harold Tallman. Buried in Indian Orchard Cem.

Misc. Notes
1900 census lists his birth in 1872, while death certificate lists 1870, and he was listed as age 9 in June of 1880. All other census records list him as if he were born in 1871.
Went by his middle name, Perry. Married by Rev. Sweet at the residence of S. Washington in Port Jervis, NY although the newspaper article states that both were residents of Honesdale.
1900 census lists him as a shoemaker with his family and his birth as 1872. His mother was living with them at the time.
1910 lists him at 38 married 17 years with Dena, his 4 sons and daughter.

Herbert Canfield, of 337 Ridge St, while learning to swin in Cajaw pond Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock, was siezed with cramps and sank from sight before his companiions could save him.
Perry Tallman, after several attemps, brought to the surface the body of the young man.
1920 listed on Elm St with wife and sons Harold (a weaver in a Silk Mill) and Ray (a machinist in an Auto Supply). Reva is living next door with her husband Frank Tosch.
He is listed with only Dena in 1930 as a farmer (58, PA) first married at age 21. Dena (57, PA) is listed as first married at 20.
In the 1940 census he is listed widowed (68, PA) with a 5th grade education, and living with the family of his son Guy.
In 1947 he generated a hand written list of his ancestors, which is in possession of Dave Wells.
Apparently he had both legs amputated some time before his death. It is unknown whether this was due to diabetes or something else.
He died of a coronary occlusion, due to natural causes.
