Raymond Tallman Dies
Raymond Tallman, 201 Golden Road, Honesdale, died Friday in Wayne County Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Born in Honesdale, son of the lete Oliver P. and Christine Denk Tallman, he formerly was employed as foreman for both the Lummos and Yuba Corporations. He was a member of John's Roman Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society and the Alert Pire Co., Honesdale.
Surviving are his widow, the former Kathryn Hosey; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Freethy and Mrs, John Babyak, both of Hawley, RD; two sons, John P. and Raymond R., both of Honesdale; a sister, Mrs. Frank Tosch, Honesdale; three brothers, Walter, Reno, Nevada; Guy and Harold, both of Honesdale; 12 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Tuesday from Franklin J. Myers Funeral Home, 1403 Main St., Honesdale, with mass in St. John's Church at 10. a.m. Interment, parish cemetery.
Friends may call this afternoon and evening. A bible service will be held today at 8
