Worked for school in Mt. Vernon. Has list of relatives from Wells family reunions and a letter from someone in New York who was researching Moats family. Her son lives in a house in front of her's. She said she had one granddaughter, 4 grandsons, and 3 step grandsons as of Xmas '94.
She had aortic valve replacement surgery in 2006.
She was hospitalized with Hypercalcemia on Jan 14th 2010, and later found to have stage 4 Burkitt's Lymphoma (liver cancer), from which she died in a few weeks.

Marjorie A. Fearn, age 77, of Fredericktown died Friday, February 19, 2010 at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born June 22, 1932 in Mansfield to the late Robert W. and Lelia E. (Black) Wells.
Marjorie graduated from Butler High School in 1950 and was the Valedictorian of her class. She had worked as a secretary at Edward Sheet Metal and at the Mt. Vernon School Board. She was an active member of both the church and choir at Fredericktown United Methodist Church. Marjorie also belonged to the Garden Club and several Bridge Clubs. In addition she loved to attend all cultural events in the area such as concerts, plays and sporting events. She liked to travel with her friends and the senior citizens group.
Survivors include her children, Stephen Algire of Fredericktown, Brenda Algire of Mt. Vernon and Kathy Salyers of Grove City; step-children, Carolyn Fearn, Kathryn Fearn and J.T. (Kim) Fearn all of Fredericktown; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard O. and Ianne Wells of Danville; two nephews and one niece.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband James K. Fearn and a step-son, Sgt Guy Victor "Buddy" Fearn.
Friends may call Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church, 123 Columbus Road, Fredericktown. Funeral services will begin at 12:30PM with Reverend Gary Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
