SOON FOLLOWED HUSBAND. Death of Mrs. Sarah Ann Harvey at Long Branch.
Mrs. Sarah Ann Harvey, widow of Longstreet Harvey of Eatontown, died last Saturday night at the home of her son, David D. Harvey of Long Branch. Mrs. Harvey had been in failing health since the death of her husband last November. A few weeks previous to her death she was stricken with paralysis and she sank steadily.
Mrs. Harvey was 86 years old and was a daughter of Hannah and Daniel VanNote of Squankum. She married Mr. Harvey nearly 68 years ago and since 1889 the couple had celebrated their marriage anniversary annually on November 24th. Besides being the anniversary of their wedding it was also the birthdays of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey.
Mr. Harvey was ninety years old. The couple had lived on the Harvey homestead opposite Monmouth Park sixty years. Last fall they had planned to move to Long Branch and live with their son, David D. Harvey, the rest of their lives. Death interfered with these plans and Mrs. Harvey lived on the place for a time. A few weeks after Mr. Harvey's death the farm was sold and Mrs. Harvey moved to Long Branch, where she divided her time between her daughter, Mrs. Charles DeCamp, and her son.
Besides these children, Mrs. Harvey leaves one son, Wellington R. Harvey, and a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert White, both of Long Branch. She leaves also twenty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchldren. The funeral was held yesterday in the Baptist church at Long Branch and was conducted by Rev. W. Frank Johnson. The body was buried at West Long Branch.

A WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. A Celebration at Mr. and Mrs. Longstreet Harvey's.
The 61st wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Longstreet Harvey of Eatontown was celebrated last Thursday night. About fifty guests were present at the celebration, which was attended with various social pleasures. A supper was served at ten o'clock and at midnight a special trolley car took most of the guests home.
Mr. Harvey was born near Belmar. His father died when he was ten years old and he went to work on a farm at Deal.Wen he was 23 years old and while still working on this farm he married Miss Sarah Ann VanNote of Farmingdale. Immediately after the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Harvey moved to a farm near Eatontown. Four years later they moved to the farm where they now live. Mr. Harvey farmed this place for 21 years on shares and then bought it. The house is opposite the main entrance to Monmouth Park.
Mr. Harvey was 84 years old and Mrs. Harvey was 79 years old last Saturday, their birthdays coming on the same day. Both are still hale and hearty. Ever since their golden wedding they have had these wedding celebrations yearly.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey have five children. They have Mrs. Gilbert White of Long Branch City, Burlington and David Harvey of Long Branch, Mrs. Charles DeCamp of Branchport and Edmund Harvey of Eatontown. They have twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

ANNIVERSARIES OVER. Death of Longstreet Harvey of Eatontown.
He was to have celebrated his Ninetieth Birthday and Sixty-Seventh Wedding Anniversary next Friday. A Farmer for many years.
Longstreet Harvey, who died on the stone road opposite the old Monmouth Park race track near Eatontown, and who was to have celebrated his ninetieth birthday and 67th wedding anniversary next Friday, died on Thursday night. Two days before his death he complained of feeling badly and to to his bed. On Thursday morning he seemed to be slightly better but later in the day he grew worse and died at nine o'clock that night.
Mr. Harvey was born November 24th, 1816, on the road between Shark river and Farmingdale. His parents were Abigail and David Harvey. Five years to the day after Mr. Harvey's birth Miss Sarah VanNote was born at Farmingdale. In 1839 Mr. Harvey and Miss VanNote were married and the ceremony was performed on their birthdays.
After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Harvey went to Eatontown to live. For a number of years Mr. Harvey farmed the Byrnes place, which is no owned by P. F. Collier. He afterward moved to the Smith farm and in 1846 took possession of the George A. Corlies farm opposite the old race track. Twenty years afterwards he bought the Corlies property and had lived there ever since.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1889 and ever since then their wedding anniversary and birthdays had been annually celebrated. There are four generations of the family who gatered at the old homestead to celebrate the triple celebration. the celebration next Friday night was to have been the last in the old farmhouse, as Mr. Harvey's son David had planned to have his parents live with him in his new house at Long Branch.
For a number of years Mr. Harvey had been a member of Eatontown Baptist church. Besides his wife he leaves five children; Mrs. Charles DeCamp, Mrs. Gilbert White, Wellington R. Harvey and David B. Harvey of Long Branch. Mr. Harvey's younger brother, David Harvey, died at Oceanic a few weeks ago.
The funeral was held at the house on Monday afternoon. Rev. W. Frank Johnson, pastor of Long Branch Baptist church, conducted the service. The body was buried at West Long Branch.
