Charles bought 47+ acres of his father's estate on Kettle Creek and 14 acres of meadow. He later with Elizabeth Ann then sold part of this to Samuel Vannote (Partitions Book A:8 and DB 04:64-65). Charles also bought 10 acres of swamp and 6 acres of meadow beach. There was an inventory in 1856 for Charles W. Vannote, 00106, which may be for this person.
