George Alfred DeVoe passed away at his home north of Somers early this morning after an illness of several weeks. Mr. DeVoe was 80 years of age and had been a resident of Somers for the past 44 years.
Surviving him are his wife and two children, Charles DeVoe and Mrs. Lawrence Drew, both of Somers, and two step-children, Mrs. R. R. Ricketts and Mrs. H. McClung of Kalipspell.
Funeral services have been set for Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Waggener & Campbell chapel with Rev Wm. Griffith of the Episcopal church officiating. Interment will follow in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
