SIGURD JACOBSEN
OAK PARK, Minn. - Sigurd Jacobsen, 75, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at Los Gatos (Calif.) Community Hospital. He was born March 1, 1896 in Nome, N.D. He married Anna Hellesvig Oct. 30, 1920. They lived in North Dakota, St. Paul, Robbinsdale, Minn., and Wahkon, Minn., before moving to a farm in Malmo, Minn. He lived and farmed there until his retirement in 1959, when he moved near Foreston, Minn.
Mr. Jacobsen was a member of the Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church, Estes Brook, Minn.
Surviving are one son, Gerry, Saratoga, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Pearl) Uttermark, Granite Falls, Minn.; and Mrs.Walter (Merlyn) Swanson, Ster-ling, Colo.; one foster son, Nat Wilson; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1966.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church, with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Harry Swanson will 3 officiate. Pallbearers will be Gordon and Bruce Uttermark, Rollin Johnson, Ted Nordstrom, Paul Bleed and Mark Sederquiest.
Friends may call at the Hanson Funeral Home, Princeton, Minn., until noon Saturday, and at the Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church one hour before funeral services.
