Her unmarried(?) sister was named Marianna Pedroza (1865-1953) and is buried near her.

He is listed as born June 1865 in the 1900 census, his death record says 1863, and the headstone shows 1862. The earliest record has been used.
He appears to be listed alone (18, PTL) in 1880 census, working as a laborer and born in Portugal.
Listed as a farmer (Jun 1865, CA) with his parents, his wife Barbara (30, CA) and sons Manuel (12), Joseph (9), John (7), Geogre (6), Eddie (6), and Ernest (4) plus daughter Mary (1) in the 1900 census, where he is listed as born in California, while all other records say Portugal.
1910 census lists him as Manuel A. Marshal (45, PGL) and says he immigrated in 1874 and naturalized. Living with them is his sister-in-law Mariana Petrazo (43, PGL) single and immigrated in 1900.
1920 shows him as Emanuel A. Marshall (56, PGL) from the Azores,says he immigrated in 1873 and was naturalized as a child based on his father’s naturalizaiton. He is working in the gov’t aresenal, and living with he and Barbara is son Ernest and granddaughter Catherine (10).
The 1930 census says Manuel Marshal immigrated in 1880 and was naturalized. With them is grandson Edward (10) and Isabel Silva (84, PTL) as an aunt, single.
Listed in 1940 Manuel Marshall (76, PGL) s a widowed elevator operator at the shipyard. Listed with him is Maryanna Pedroza (72, PGL) who is listed on his wife’s gravesite as her sister.
Death record lists his birth in 1863, but headstone says 1862.
