Death Cert lists 21 July as her birthdate, but obit erroneously says it was 2 July 1914!
Lived in Reno all her life and was a member of the Eastern Star. She died of hermorrhaging of esophagus and spleen at the age of 39. She lived at 1261 Seminary Ave, Reno, NV at the time.
Buried in the Masonic section of Mountain View Cem.
She was survived by her husband, William Walts, a son, William Walts Jr., two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Schorr of Los Angeles and Mrs. Harold Carter of Reno, and her parents.

He graduated from Mount Rose High School in a class of 29 students in Reno on June 8th 1915.
Living (28, NV) with his parents and sister in 1930 Reno census as a culturer in a fish hatchery.
In 1940 he was married and working as Asst Superintendent (38, NV) at the fish hatchery; with wife Evelyn (25, NV) and son Wm Jr (6, NV).
They lived at 85 Ardmore Drive in Reno in 1945. He was a Fish & Game Warden for Washoe Co.
He is listed with his wife and son in 1950 in Reno, and was working as a slot machine attendant.
They apparently renewed their vows later, as there is a marriage record for them in Carson City on 7 Aug 1950.
He had emphysema and lived with Walter and Alice Tallman after his wife died.

WILLIAM A. WALTS
William A. (Bill) Walts Sr. who worked for the Nevada Fish and Game for 40 years and was a member of a family that settled in the Reno area about 100 years ago, died Thursday in a Las Vegas rest home.
Walts was born October 5, 1901, in Reno, to Judge Guy and Mattie Walts. The judge was born in Milford, California where his father ran a way station and operated a freight line from Susanville to Virginia City.
The Reno native was an Air Force cadet in the 1920's, attending flying school in San Antonio, Texas.
In 1927, he went to work for the Nevada Fish and Game Department, serving as an assistant superintendent and finally superintendent in fish raising operations.
He was Nevada softball commissioner from 1942 to 1945. In 1955 he became an investigator for the Nevada Gaming Commission.
He was a member of the Reno Lions Club, worked in youth activities, and was a member of Washoe Lodge No. 35 F. & A.M. (Free and Accepted Masons). Entombment will be in the Masonic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

William A. Walts, Sr.
Services and interment are pending in Reno for William A. Walts, Sr. 71, who died Thursday at the Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospital in Las Vegas.
Mr. Walts, a Reno native, was a former investigator with the Nevada State Gaming Commission. He was visiting his son, William, Jr., the administrator of Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospital in Las Vegas, when he died.
In addition to his son, he is survived by his sister, Margaret A. Ligon of Reno and three grandchildren.
Spalding Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements and Ross-Burke and Knobel will take care of the out of town preparations.
