Misc. Notes
Her divorce from Harry got her excommunicated from the Catholic church.
Listed in 1940 on N. Virginia St in Reno at age 23 with her husband Alfred (26, CA) who was working as a hotel clerk. Both had finished high school, and they had daughter’s Carolyn (4, NV) and Sandra (1yr 5mos, NV).
A family story is that she divorced Alfred, then later remarried him; but her daughter says they were merely separated, although Chris says they were eventually divorced.
She was living by herself in an apt. at 12220 1/4 Magnolia Blvd, N. Hollywood in June 1974 when she wrote the letter about the Robbs to Betty.
She had a stroke in the late 1980’s, similar to her sister Betty’s. She was partially paralyzed and unable to talk. Could only say “too”. Lived in a rest home for nearly 10 more years before her death.
Her ashes were scattered over Newport Beach.
