FREDERICKTOWN -- Geneva M. Mowry, 95, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001 at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
Geneva was born September 10, 1906 in Richland County to Jay and Pearl (Eller) Gaddis and had spent most of her lifetime in the Fredericktown area. She was a faithful member of the Palmyra Church of Christ. She had also been active with the Fredericktown Senior Citizens, Berlin Grange and the Widows Card Club in Fredericktown.
Surviving are her daughter Naomi (Floyd) Tharp of Lakeland, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous Step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brother Clark Gaddis of Bellville and her sister Pauline Grehl of Columbus.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husbanad Leonard Mowry; a son Lloyd Mowry; a daughter Alberta Wiggins; a granddaughter Linda Dwyer, a brother Clyde Gaddis and 3 sisters Kathryn Moree, Marcella Boner and Martha Leedy.
