Richard M. Gaddis MARENGO -
Richard M. Gaddis, 85, 391 Ohio 61, died Thursday afternoon in Woodside Village Care Center, Mount Gilead. The retired salesman from Gaddis Brick Co., Columbus, was a member of Fargo Wesleyan Church here.
He is survived by 'his wife, the former Anna E. Carlson; two sons, Dr. Austin Gaddis, Apple Valley, Calif., and Richard M. Gaddis Jr., Marion, Ind.; three daughters, Karen A. Casteel, Marengo, Sarah A. Plants, Fallon, Nev., and Marilyn Weber, Galion; four sisters, Dorothy Knox, Port Charlotte, Fla., Elizabeth Trip, Waverly, Catherine Lorenz, West Lafayette, and Bonnie Jeanne Windsor, Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy W. and Maye E. Maxwell Gaddis. The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Monday in DeVore Funeral Home Golden Rule Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Tewell officiating. Burial will be in Fargo Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Fargo Wesleyan Church.
