Birth1808, Virginia
Misc. Notes
She is listed as born in Virginia in 1850 and in the 1880 census records of her children.
In both the 1850 and 1860 census there is a John Doran living with them. He is listed as an idiot in 1850 (b. OH). In 1860 he is listed as born in Ireland and cannot read or write. Since he is only 3 years younger than Mary Ann, I assume that he is related to her and that her last name is Doran. Probate papers from Licking Co Gen Soc also show (index pg 92) a listing for page 106 of an unknown person whose heir is John Dornan (an idiot) with Joseph Evans as the guardian and both James and David Moats as bondsmen dated 11 Nov 1843.
She apparently died or was divorced before 1880, when James is listed with his second wife Jemimah.
