Peck Went Along For Ride -
Wagoner was driving a truck-trailer of the G. Reece Canning company of Waldron, enroute to St. Louis, Mo, with a shipment of canned pumpkin. It was reported at Waldron that Peck went along for the ride. The truck crashed into the side of a freight train on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific line about 8:30 o'clock last night and burst into flames.
Members of the train crew pulled Wagoner out of the wreckage and he ws taken to a hospital in Lintoh, where he died, at 9. o'clock. The charred body of Peck was found in the wreckage after the fire had subsided. The body was not identified until word could be obtained from Waldron.
