Hinshaws Quaker Genealogy, Vol II, shows that he got a transfer letter from Butternut Meeting, NY dated 4 May 1814, and from New Garden Meeting, OH on 13 Oct 1814, then was received by the Plainfield Meeting, OH on 28 Jan 1815.

He wrote a letter to James Kerr on 2 Feb 1833 providing details of his family and mentioned that his brother James had visited that winter. His son from the first marriage to Jane Beck, Thomas had 3 children and lived in Michigan, 100 miles north of Bellville OH on the other side of Lake Erie in 1833/1835.
He was granted citizenship in Belmont County in 1840. He was still in Goshen Twp in 1840, but most of his children were grown and his wife died that year, so his is listed with only himself (80-90), a girl (granddaughter?) 5-10, and two daughters 30-40.
He wrote again on 18 Sept 1844, with few details on his family. And a third letter of 27 Aug 1845 provided more details about the family shortly before his death.
