Dau of Albert “Bert” Alvin (22 Jan 1885 IL - 1956 IL) and Mildred E. Lawyer b. 1889 IL.
She and Ray got a marriage license on 31 Dec 1925 in Bloomington, but not sure of their marriage date.
Strangely, she appears to be listed in the 1950 census in Indianapolis by herself as Laverne M. Wells (39, IN) and divorced (perhaps they separated briefly), and it appears son Eugene may be at the bottom of the same page.
