Baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church at Albany, NY, 16 May 1690, as son of Goosen Jansen Van Noort and Maria Peeck. Witness to Willem's baptism was Johannes De Wandelaar, and sponsor was Marietje Van Esch. He died intestate, leaving Magdalena as a widow in 1772. She and their son Jacob were appointed to administer his estate on 30 May 1772, with bondsmen Jacob Brewer of Shrewsbury and John Van Clafe of Freehold. Inventory on 10 Apr 1772 was by Jacob Laing and Elazarous Brewer, son of Adam Brouwer, brother to Magdalena. (More from Granville Hough) Their children may include William, Anna, Mary, Thomas, Levi, Peter, John, Neleey, Joseph, Rozi Ann, Cornelius, Jacob, and Mary. Some of these may be grand children, nephews, or nieces.
