"Charley" was a barber.
He had several illegitimate children besides Jay, but they apparently were not given the Grice name. Had an illegitimate son, Jay by Laura (later Hissong), who was named Grice. Jay was born 1899, died 24 Apr 1976. Charles was married only once, to Sadie Gatton, and had two children. He is listed in Bellville in 1910 with wife Sadie (28, OH) married 7 yrs, with dau Mildred (6) and son Dale (5).
Served in Spanish-American War. Died of diptheria in Bellville.
