GRICE. Catherine Holcomb Case was born in Mansfield, Ohio, Oct. 27, 1850. Married Salathiel Grice Oct. 9, 1873. Four children, three daughters and one son: Miss Etta May of New York City, Miss Clara of this city, Mrs. (Fannie) Chester Fulton, this city, and William L., Commerce, Texas. Also one brother, George H. Case of Mankato, Kans.; and two sisters, Mrs. E. H. King of Denver and Miss Lettie Case of New York City. Mr. Grice passed to his rest June 14, 1888.....
Listed as Mrs. S. W. Grice in cemetery listing. Penciled in is "Salathiel"; indicating that the first given name of husband was that name.

Lived in Knox Co a few years and then was a farmer near Pavonia, OH. His mother lived with them following his father's death. Died of congestion of the lung, left 4 children -
Died - 4 Jun 1888 at 41 yrs, 6 mo in Madison Twp, Richland Co. Buried in Milton/Pavonia Cem (Methodist Church).
His wife and family moved to Denver after his death.
